Religion and Ethics Show on Mormonism
Over the weekend, PBS' Religion and Ethics Newsweekly included a piece on Mormonism. While it was fairly introductory in nature, it does briefly summarize the disagreements which exist between The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the historic Christian faith. Interesting video. I appreciate that it didn't demonize Christians and that it gave a fair amount of time to critics of the mormon church.
I did find Hinckley's assertion that the Nicene Creed is "confusing" to be a bit odd, especially since he is allegedly a prophet. Also a bit shocking was the shot of the man and woman in their garments!
