John MacArthur, the Master's Seminary, and the Emerging Church
The Master's Seminary web site has just posted the first two faculty lectures (of five) on the emerging church movement. Here they are (in MP3 format):

Dr. John MacArthur, "
The Emerging Church"
Dr. Larry Pettegrew, "
The Emerging Church Paradigm"

UPDATE: Apparently, the demand for these lectures is so high that the Master's Seminary site is having problems. I have contacted their webmaster to see if there is anything that can be done. In the meantime, please be patient. You can check on the status by going directly to the Master's Seminary "Faculty Lectures Series" page.

Hello John, the TMS website either does not respond to your links, and/or the audio is no longer there -- I went to the site directly and could not find any audio. Thanks for the heads-up, hope to download the lectures when they are available.

I am not sure what the problem is... but I will add an update to the post including a link to the Master's Seminary page where the MP3s can be downloaded. I hope this helps!

HI JOHN,
TODAY IS FEB 16 AND I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO HEAR JOHN MACARTHUR'S TALK ON THE EMERGENT CHURCH, FROM YOUR AND TMS WEBSITE. IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THERE COULD BE ANOTHER PROBLEM OTHER THAN THE DEMAND BEING TOO MUCH?
PLEASE UPDATE AGAIN IF THAT IS OKAY.

THANKS.

You are right--the problem is no longer demand. And I am also not having any problem downloading it. If you still cannot download the audio by Monday, e-mail me and I'll send it to you.
